Hi and welcome to PASSIONAustralia.blog!
This blog is a place where I share the resources I have written and preached over the years. I also include reflections on faith, life, the Bible, ministry and occasionally my fitness hobbies.
In the past I have completed my Bible college studies. I have been a Pastor of a small country church, a church Elder, a youth leader, a home Bible study leader and I have also worked as a School Chaplain.
I first set up the Christian ministry PASSIONAustralia.org back in 1998. Since this time we have been reaching out to the people of Australia and the world through this website. Since 1998 we have had millions of visitors from all around the world.
My heart in having this blog is to encourage people in their faith in Christ. I have been following Jesus for 36 years. I have found this journey to be an amazing adventure and I want to share it with others!

My Beliefs
My beliefs are similar to the beliefs that millions of Christians have held in the last 2000 years. I believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God and our main source for Christian belief and practice in the church.
I also believe in the ancient creeds of the church like the Apostles Creed and the Nicene Creed. In the Creeds is a great summary of what we have held true and sacred as Christians and churches down through the ages.
The Apostles Creed
I believe in God, the Father almighty,
creator of heaven and earth.
I believe in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord,
who was conceived by the Holy Spirit
and born of the virgin Mary.
He suffered under Pontius Pilate,
was crucified, died, and was buried;
he descended to the dead.
On the third day he rose again from the dead.
He ascended to heaven
and is seated at the right hand of God the Father almighty.
From there he will come to judge the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit,
the holy christian church,
the communion of saints,
the forgiveness of sins,
the resurrection of the body,
and the life everlasting.

The Nicene Creed
We believe in one God,
the Father, the almighty,
maker of heaven and earth,
of all that is, seen and unseen.
We believe in one Lord, Jesus Christ,
the only Son of God,
eternally begotten of the Father,
God from God, Light from Light,
true God from true God,
begotten, not made,
of one being with the Father;
through him all things were made.
For us and for our salvation
he came down from heaven,
was incarnate of the Holy Spirit and the virgin Mary
and became truly human.
For our sake he was crucified under Pontius Pilate;
he suffered death and was buried.
On the third day he rose again
in accordance with the Scriptures;
he ascended into heaven
and is seated at the right hand of the Father.
He will come again in glory to judge
the living and the dead
and his kingdom will have no end.
We believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life,
who proceeds from the Father and the Son,
who with the Father and the Son
is worshipped and glorified,
who has spoken through the prophets.
We believe in one holy catholic and apostolic Church.
We acknowledge one baptism for the forgiveness of sins.
We look for the resurrection of the dead,
and the life of the world to come. Amen.
