Hi and welcome to PASSIONAustralia.blog. This blog is a place where I share the resources I have written, recorded and preached over the years. I also include reflections on faith, life, the Bible, ministry and my fitness hobbies.
In the past I have completed my Bible college studies and have been a Pastor of a small country church. Currently I work part time as a School Chaplain and I attend my local church.

My Beliefs
My beliefs are similar to most people who have followed Jesus since the early days of the church. Most of these beliefs are described in the Apostles Creed and Five Solas below.
The Apostles’ Creed
I believe in God, the Father almighty,
creator of heaven and earth.
I believe in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord,
who was conceived by the Holy Spirit,
born of the Virgin Mary,
suffered under Pontius Pilate,
was crucified, died, and was buried;
he descended to the dead.
On the third day he rose again;
he ascended into heaven,
he is seated at the right hand of the Father,
and he will come to judge the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit,
the holy catholic Church,
the communion of saints,
the forgiveness of sins,
the resurrection of the body,
and the life everlasting.
Amen.
The Five Solas
The five solas are distinctive teachings emphasized by the leading figures of the 16th-century Reformation. Sola is the Latin word for ‘alone’.
• Scripture Alone: The Bible is the supreme and final authority, not the traditions of the Church.
• Christ Alone: Sinners are justified in God’s sight only on the basis of Christ’s finished work on the cross and through his resurrection.
• Faith Alone: God’s pardon to sinners is granted to and received by faith alone, apart from works.
• Grace Alone: All of salvation, from beginning to end, is only by the grace of God.
• To the Glory of God Alone: God alone receives glory for our salvation.
