One of the things I have heard over the last year is the phrase, “Find your why?” It means find the reason why you do something and it is to help keep you motivated.
I was reading Colossians chapter one this morning and I think I found the Apostle Paul’s why is verses 28-29. It says…
Colossians 1:28-29 NLT
[28] So we tell others about Christ, warning everyone and teaching everyone with all the wisdom God has given us. We want to present them to God, perfect in their relationship to Christ. [29] That’s why I work and struggle so hard, depending on Christ’s mighty power that works within me.
Paul struggled and worked so hard in sharing the Gospel because he wanted to present them to God in right relationship with Christ. This sounds like his why.
The reason why I have this blog is to encourage people in their faith in Christ. I want people to know Jesus and grow in their faith.
How about you? What is your why or you reason to do what you do? What keeps you motivated in the hard times? What keeps you pressing forward in your service to God?
